Land of contrasts. So much poverty...so much wealth. Beautiful structures built by the British going to decay. Hindu, Muslin, Christians live side-by-side. They tell you no conflict...but it is there.
Cochin was quite interesting. It is in southern India. We traveled 1.5 hrs into the countryside to view a traditional Snake Boat Race. Reallllly long canoe-like boats with about 100 oarsmen each. Jim did some quick Flip videos. I am going to try to expand my horizon and post one.
